Linda Gail Watts Gaddy, 82, passed away on February 27, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Alice Hensley Watts. Linda was born November 29, 1943, in the Bee Log Community of Yancey County and was a resident of Barnardsville for most of her life. She worked at Walmart and retired after 16 years. She was a member of Forks of Ivy Baptist Church.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Lester Gaddy; sisters, Pat Chandler (J.R.) and Karen Tipton (Ricky); brother Leon Watts (Irene); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday March 3, 2026, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Greg Hollifield will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private burial will be in the Watts Cemetery in Bee Log.
