Linda Lee Nix Teague, 70, of Marshall, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Nancy Stringer Nix and a native of Mecklenburg County, having lived the last several years in Madison County. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Bramlett, and a brother, Jonathan Nix. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Marshall.

Linda is survived by her husband, James "Robert" Teague, son, James "Matthew" Teague and wife Tiffany, sister, Yvonne Baker and husband Danny, brother, James Michael Nix and wife Fran, her beloved grandson, Lathan Matthew Teague, and beloved niece, Michelle Luther.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Sunset Memory Gardens, Charlotte, NC. Reverend Chris Hartis will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Madison County Library Children's Fund, 1335 N. Main Street, Marshall, NC 28753.
