Lois Ann Barret, age 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 27, 2024. She was born on November 8, 1945 in Madison County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of J.G. and Mildred Rice Maxwell.

In addition to her parents, Lois is survived by her husband, Bill Barrett; son, Chad Barrett (Abby); sisters, Betty Tweed, and Sarah Tweed; grandchild Bill Barett (Paige); and great grandchild Emerson Barrett.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Jerry Jamerson will officiate.
