Lori Ann Reese Ray, 63, passed away on Tuesday February 10, 2026. She was born on September 21, 1962, in Buncombe County to the late Bobby and Berniece Davis Reese. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Reese. Lori was a loving wife and mother. She worked as tax collector for Madison County. She was a faithful member of Big Laurel Baptist Church where she loved serving as the pianist and teaching Sunday School.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ricky Ray; sons, Jacob and Bobby Ray; sister, Patricia Clark (Darrin); brother, John Griffin; niece, Hannah Clark; and her very best friend, Becky Hughey.

The family will have a memorial service 2:00 pm Saturday, February 21, 2026 in Big Laurel Baptist Church. Reverends Kellen Griffin and Sam Fox will officiate.
