March 4, 1947 – April 18, 2025
Lou Hester (Norton) Cutshaw, 78, of Marshall, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Madison County and the daughter of the late Oliver Jessie and Arthie Norton. In addition to her parents, Lou is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Carson Cutshaw, infant son, Boyd Cutshaw, 2 sisters, Ida Cutshall and Josephine Riddle, and one brother, Gene Metcalf.
Lou retired from Microswitch and was a member of Spillcorn Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter, Eva Wyatt (Mike); son, Jesse Dwight "JD" Cutshaw (Bonnie); sisters, Mary Lou Shelton (Clifton), Robbie Shelton, and Mazester Brooks; brothers, Amos Norton, and Andy Norton (Iva); grandchildren, Shaun Cutshaw, Matthew Norton, Jessica Cutshaw, Kandace Zulak (Adam), and Brittney Cutshaw; great grandchildren, Jaylan, Eli, Gracie, Isabella, Rylan, and Carson; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Spillcorn Church of God. Reverends Eddie Roberts and Raymond Cantrell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Norton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Roger Edmonds and the staff of Madison Health & Rehabilitation, for their loving care given to Lou.
