Jennie "Louella" Fox Leighton, 83, of Weaverville, passed away Thursday August 4, 2022, at Care Partners Solace Center. She was the daughter of the Late Richard and Eloise Edwards Fox. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Bobby Leighton, a daughter, Pamela Leighton Banks, a brother, Jimmy Fox, and a sister, Evelyn Hall

Louella is survived by her son Robby Leighton, Jr. (Michelle); sisters: Suzie Nichols (Olan), Barbara Smith (Austin); brothers: R.L. and Jerry Fox; grandchildren: Jason Baker, Cole Leighton, Hannah Nash, Tiffany and Tyler Banks; ten great grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Old Bull Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Eddie Fox officiating. The family will receive friends and family prior to service at 9:30am at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service.

Flowers will be accepted or a donation can be made to a charity of one's choice.
