Lyle Kahler Emmerich, 82, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. He was born March 20, 1943 to the late Vernon and Gladys Kahler Emmerich. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Emmerich, who died in 2017.

Lyle was a former resident of Barnardsville, NC before moving to Weaverville. He was an independent truck driver, and a veteran of The United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna Emmerich; grandchild, Bradley Jackson; and one great granddaughter, Emilia Jackson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 2, 2025 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Larry Coates will officiate.
