Lynne Diane Bourgeois Burns, age 66, of Big Laurel Road passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Care Partners Solace Center. She is the daughter of the late Robert and Marilyn Battle Bourgeois. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Robert and John Bourgeois.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Burns; daughters, Sheila Mull (Barry), Diane Paleno (Amy Paleno) and Allyson Daniels (Derek); sons, Donald Paleno and Christopher Burns (Mandy); brother, James Bourgeois; grandchildren, Johnathan, Mariska, Macy, Carson, Brock and Evan.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations made to Care Partners Foundation Solace Center PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
