Margaret Ann Freeman passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020. She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Dennis. She leaves behind her daughters, Amanda (Jack) Roberts and Cristy Freeman, as well as grandchildren, Avery, Andrew, Anthony, Anna, and Alijah and grand-dog Gracie. In addition to her immediate family, she had a beloved sister, Elizabeth (Leonard) Owen, in nearby Asheville, and a dear brother, Johnny, in heaven. In her family, she had many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who she deeply loved and were too numerous to name.

Margaret loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed cooking; spending time with her grandchildren and sometimes her "sheds too much" grand-dog; shopping at antique and thrift shops; and traveling throughout the United States. Her famous sausage balls will be greatly missed during the upcoming holiday season.

The family held a private memorial service that was officiated by Reverend Kevin Boone. Her ashes will be interred at a later date.
