Marie Metcalf Anders, age 88, of Mars Hill, passed away Thursday May 11, 2023. She was born June 12, 1934, in Madison County to the late Herbert and Margaret Metcalf.

Also preceding her in death are her husband, Warren Anders; and two sons, Bobby, and Roger Anders.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Billy Anders and wife Christina, and Ray Anders; 3 grandchildren, Shaleena Jeffords (Aaron), Sara Davis, and David Fox (Morgan); and 5 great grandchildren, Malissa, Hunter, Allison, David, and Oliver.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday May 13, 2023 in Anders Family Cemetery with Reverends Bobby Sprinkle, Ronnie Robinson, and Clyde Metcalf, Jr. will officiate.
