Marilyn Asesio Shortridge passed away at her home in Marshall, June 15, 2015 at the age of 90. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Elisa Asesio Light. She is survived by her husband, Edward Shortridge; daughter, Joyce McLane (Bryan) of Marshall; son, Richard Shortridge (Susan) of Orlando; grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa, Alissa and Kara. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at Saturday, June 20th at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Emma Churchman, MDiv and Rev. Jimmy Dean Hensley officiating.
