Martha Waco Paris Culbertson, age 88 of River Drive, passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 28, 2021. She is the daughter of the late William Banks Paris and Pearl Henderson Paris Lawson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Billy Gray Culbertson II; a sister, Gaynelle Lawson and brothers, Harold Paris, Frank and Drew Lawson. Mrs. Culbertson was a member of the Board of Realtors in Asheville, NC and a volunteer at Mission Hospital for 18 years.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Culbertson; daughter, Jill Walters (Billy); sister, Edith "Tootsie" Lawson Gregory; brother, Johnny Lawson; grandchildren, Calvin Walters (Danielle), Benjamin and Blake Walters.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Saturday April 3, 2021 at Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery. Reverends Randy Wood, Doctor Harry Culbertson Jr. and Jerry Warren will officiate.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to St. Jude for Children's Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
