Mary Ann McKinney, 90, of Weaverville, passed away February 22, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Eslie W. and Alice Hicks Doan. She was a member of Middle Fork Baptist Missionary Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest H. McKinney; sister, Willie Faye Buckner; brother, Lawrence, Paul and Charles Doan; grandchildren, Paul Fugitt and Marshelle Ingle and Danny Chandler.

Mary was survived by daughters, Melissa Fugitt and Marsha Ingle; sons, Robert Michael McKinney and Johnny Mack McKinney; brothers, Daivd, and Barnabus LeRoy Doan; grandchildren, Herbie Ingle (Christina), Bo Ingle (Jennifer) and Tonia Honeycutt (Joey); great -grandchildren, Joseph and Sarah Payne and Isaac and Adelynn Ingle; as well as several great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The burial will follow in the Little Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
