Mrs. Mary Lee Roberts Baumgarner, 81, of Cashiers, NC passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, at her home. Mary was the daughter of the late Elbert and Dovie-Belle Fender Roberts. She was also preceded in death by three sisters: Ruby Shelton, Nell Shelton, and Arlene Honeycutt, and four brothers: Clarence, Glenn, Bobby, and James Roberts.

Mary is survived by her loving husband: James Baumgarner, one son: Mark Baumgarner, and two sisters: Cathy Lawson and Wanda Capraro.

A funeral service will be held for Mary on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 12:30pm in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Rev. Lewis Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Laurelton Baptist Church Cemetery in Mars Hill, NC. The Baumgarner family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12:30pm prior to the funeral on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
