Mary Rice Dockery, 74, passed away on May 30, 2025. Born on February 13, 1951. She was a daughter to the late Wade and Hattie Edwards Rice. She had the ability to overcome anything life dealt her with strength and courage.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Mace; her sister, Nola Rice; and her brothers Roscoe, Phill and Alfred Rice; a special friend Earl Gosnell.

She is survived by her sons, Dale and Anthony Mace, Chris Dockery (Katrina); brothers, Oscar Rice, Glenn Rice; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and father of Chris Dockery; Phill Dockery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2025 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service prior to the graveside service which will follow in the Meadow Gap Cemetery.
