Mary Alice Fisher Huskins, of Marshall, was born on September 23, 1955, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. She was a native of Buncombe County and the daughter of Roy and Doris Rich Fisher. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Martha Fisher.

Mary is survived by her son "Sunshine" Tyler Fisher. Tyler was with her every step of the way through her battle with cancer. She is also survived by her son Brandon Fisher (Stacey) and her precious granddaughters, Madelyn and Riley Fisher, and sister, Belinda Putnam, as well as a niece, Heather Burgess.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, November 1, 2026 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral & Cremation Service, Mars Hill, NC. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
