Matthew and Charlotte Metcalf, of Marshall, passed away on January 10, 2024, due to an automobile accident. Matthew was born September 17, 1948, to the late James and Sylvia Norton Metcalf. Charlotte was born July 20, 1951, to Delores Shelton Worley and the late George Worley.

They were also preceded in death by their siblings, Dave Metcalf (Bertha), Mitchell Metcalf (Bonnie), Doris Norton (Ralph), Robert Harold Worley (Wanda).

Together in life, now together in death, their love and memories will live on. In addition to Charlotte's mother, they are survived by their children, Charles Metcalf (Janice), Patsy Frisby (Paul), and Dennis Metcalf (Mary Ann); five grandchildren, Shenna Metcalf, Matthew Metcalf (Martha), Madeline Frisby, Piper Metcalf, and LeeAnn Metcalf; two great grandchildren, Jaidyn Metcalf and Preslee Shelton; their siblings, Gene Metcalf (Janice), Robena Shelton (Earl), Mike Metcalf (Ella Mae), Lenda Cutshaw (Ricky), Greg Worley (Dova), Alvania Riddle (Jerry), Ann Arrington (James), Dexter Worley (Doris), Willis Worley (Brooklyn), Deborah Shelton (Evert), and Randy Worley (Pam); honorary child, Jeremy Shelton; and many special family and friends.

Joint funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday January 15, 2024, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Jason Shelton will lead in opening words. Burial will follow in the George Worley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm on Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
