Maxine Robertson, 80, of Mars Hill, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019. She is the daughter of the late Robert and Oleta Metcalf. In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, James Robertson; infant sons David Dewayne and Mark Jeffrey Carver; sister, Jerolene Metcalf and brother, Garold Metcalf.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Carver; sisters, Donna Edwards (Bobby) and Carolyn Suttle (Ray); granddaughter, Jennifer Carver and great-grandson, Hunter Carver.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Scott Suttle and Mickey Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Willie B. Metcalf Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service to assist the family with funeral expenses.
