McKinley Tilson (M.T.) Greene Jr. 73, of 261 Green Hill Rd., passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Elderberry Health Care Center. He was a US Navy Veteran, native of Madison County and son of the late McKinley Greene, Sr. and Lena Wilds Greene. He is also preceded in death by sisters Easter Fisher, Sadie Coffey, Irene Fox; brothers, Walter and Albin Greene. He is survived by a daughter, Emily Greene; sister, Christine Coffey; brother, Clenard Greene and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, September 19, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Ken Parker and Pastor B.P. Boyles will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bull Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
