Michael T.
Fowler
April 18, 1950 – May 14, 2026
Forks of Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery
Starts at 1:00 pm (Eastern time)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike "Blues" Fowler, a beloved son, brother, friend, golfer and gifted guitarist whose music touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to hear it.
Mike passed away May 14, 2026, at the age of 76. He was preceded in death by his parents, Legrand and Alice Fowler, biological mother, Helen Hamacher, a brother, Jerry Hamacher and father-in-law, Robert Glenn Norville.
Mike discovered his love for the guitar at a young age and spent much of his life sharing that passion with others. Whether playing on a stage beneath bright lights, strumming quietly on the front porch, or teaching a friend a favorite song, music was the language through which he connected to the world. His gift was more than talent-it came from a place of sincerity, kindness, and grace that could be felt in every note he played.
Mike's passing has left a deep ache in the hearts of those who loved him, yet his life remains a beautiful reminder that kindness, creativity, and love never truly end. Scripture tells us that "Every good and perfect gift is from above," and Mike's music was certainly one of those gifts. Through his songs, he lifted spirits, comforted others, and reminded people that beauty still exists in this world.
Though today we feel the weight of loss, we do not grieve without hope. We take comfort in believing that Mike is now held in the presence of the One who knew him fully and loved him completely. The God who gave him his music has welcomed him home.
Mike's memory will live on through the melodies he shared, the lives he touched, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
He is survived by his wife, Regina Norville Fowler; daughters, Autumn McGuirt (Daniel, Brandy Jenkins (Daniel); sisters, Teresa Barnes, Carol Brannen (Alan); brother, Joe Hamacher (Sherrie); grandchildren, Cheyenne and David McGuirt, Zayne Jenkins (Rhiannon) and Grace Jenkins; 2 great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Norville; sisters-in-law, Marla Norville and Diane Cantrell; brother-in-law, Glen Norville, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Forks of Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Sarah Fouts will officiate.
