Michael Charles Jarvis, 58, of Asheville, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville. Michael was lifelong resident of Buncombe County and was the son of Allen "Bud" and Joyce Wright Jarvis. Michael was preceded in death by his father; Allen "Bud" Jarvis. Michael loved music and was very artistic. He enjoyed other hobbies as well including fishing, gardening, and traveling. Michael had a wonderful sense of humor, affectionately known by his nieces and nephews as "Uncle Funny Michael".

Michael is survived by his mother: Joyce Wright Jarvis; two daughters: Shana Truelove (David) and Sara Quimby (Ray), three sisters: Vicki Jarvis Burgin, Angie Jarvis, and Beth Ramsey, one brother: Bryan Wright, his long-time companion: Lauren Kittel, and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 1:00pm at Mt. Bethel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating.
