Michael Dean Reavis, 66, passed away November 9, 2021, at Mission Hospital after a period of declining health. Michael spent the last seven years of his life at The Oaks of Sweeten Creek in Asheville where he was cared for by a wonderful staff.

Michael enjoyed photography and was a talented artist. At one time he owned a business repairing computers and all types of electronics. He liked to help people who found themselves under difficult circumstances. He was highly intelligent, had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed living his life as he chose.

Preceding Michael in death are his parents: Lewis and Nellie Capps Reavis, his sisters: Joann Honeycutt, Mary Gail Parker, Mozelle Jamerson, Martha and May Lee.

Surviving Michael are his nephew: Rodney Peek and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Some very special people in Michael's life are his niece: April Ammons and her children Ireland, Madison, Chase, and Cade; and Michael's long time best friend John McCarson, and brothers- in- law: Paul Honeycutt and Robert Parker.
