Naomi Sprinkle Sams, 63, of Bull Creek Rd. passed away March 11, 2018. She was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Edwards Sprinkle. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by sisters, Patricia Johnston, Lois Hensley and Jamie Lou Partenheimer. Naomi is survived by her husband, J.B Sams; daughter, Kristeen Sams (Rich); son, Ted Sams (Julie); sisters, Lula Belle Berry, Willie Jo Wilde and Sarah Faye Ledbetter; brothers, Merritt and Jimmy Sprinkle; grandchildren, Callie, Tyson, Turner and Addie Mae as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1:00pm Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Ricky Townsend, Anthony Fox and Troy Rogers will officiate. The burial will follow in the Hunter Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the funeral home.
