Nevada Davis Roberts, 81 of S. Fork Road, Marshall passed away Sunday, July 5th at Elderberry Health Care Center. She was a native of Madison County and daughter of the late Collis Stephen and Topsy Arrington Davis. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, "Son" Roberts; sisters, Doris Caldwell and Betty Jean Mathis; brothers, Loy and Carroll Davis. Mrs. Roberts is survived by her daughters, Diana Price (Leonard) of Marshall, Patricia Roberts (Mike), Sherry Roberts and Pamela Greer (Tim) all of Asheville; son, Michael Roberts (Rita) of Leicester; sisters, Gail Cutshall of Newberry, SC and Geneva Massey of Marshall; brother, Jerry Davis of Marshall, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Gary Fender and Ken Parker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Laurelton Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
