Mrs. Nina Ilone Blankenship Davis, 67, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville, TN. She was a long-time resident of Marshall, NC and was the daughter of the late George Washington and Carrie Mooneyhamm Blankenship. Nina was a truck driver and wonderful mother and grandmother.

Nina is survived by her husband: Vaughn Davis, two sons: Douglas Davis and wife Traci, and Brandon Davis and wife Khristina, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30pm on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with the Rev. Randy Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler, NC. The Davis family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral from 11:30am until 12:30pm at the funeral home.
