Oime Mae Cutshall Banks, 95, of Alexander, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. She was born July 24, 1930 in Madison County to the late Dan and Lucinda Ray Cutshall.

Oime enjoyed gardening, flowers, and working outdoors. She was a loving mother and grandmother; she loved her dog "Mia".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Louise C. Hensley; and brothers, Oscar Cutshall and Everette Cutshall.

She is survived by her son, Boyce Lunsford (Michelle); grandchildren, Haley Young (Matthew), Sabrina Lunsford, Lechelle Worley; great grandchild, Chesney Young; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, August 8, 2025 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverends Howard Self and Gary Fender will officiate. Burial will be in the Lunsford Farm Cemetery, Alexander. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
