Pansy Worley Silver, 71 of Marshall, passed away unexpectedly July 26, 2015. She was born November 20, 1943 to the late Isaac Layafette and Louella Ellar Randall Worley. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Dale Silver who passed away on November 30, 2012, sister; Gladys Worley; brothers; Jonas and Ray Worley. Pansy was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church, graduate of Walnut High School and retired from BASF after 40 years of service. She is survived by brothers; Frank Worley (Evelyn) of Weaverville, NC, Cecil Worley (Nina Faye) of Southgate, MI, Eugene Worley (Mary Jo) of Marshall, NC and J.C. Worley (Carolyn) of Knoxville, TN, Brother-in-law; Troy Silver (Shirley) of Old Fort, NC and Sister-in-law; Barbara Stewart of Greensboro, NC and many nieces, nephews and family members. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in Flat Creek Baptist Church. Rev.Brian Hanrahan and Rev. Danny Little will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the church.
