Patrick Michael Denton, 60, of Marshall, NC, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

He was born on November 20, 1965, in Davidson County, TN. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Roy Thomas Denton and Dr. Martha Jane Oak Denton. He served in the U.S. Navy in San Diego, CA. He was a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in construction management.

Patrick loved movies, music, building, football, his fur babies, his family and friends. Most of all he loved riding his motorcycle. Long rides with music and nature - his spiritual place. Enjoying the winding roadways here in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Patrick was a former Director of the Asheville Harley Owners Group where he was well known and loved as "Boogie".

Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Kimberly Ann Payne Denton; his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Rice Payne of Weddington, NC; brother-in-law, Gary Payne (Crissy) of Huntersville, NC; nephews, Michael Payne (Amy) of Lincolnton, NC, Stevie Payne of Huntersville, NC; and more family here in Madison County.
