Paul Arnold Banks of Weaverville, NC, 94 years old, went home to be with the Lord on November 23, 2020. He is the son of the late Roscoe and Esther Manard Banks.

His is survived by his daughter Gwendolyn Holcombe and husband Jerry Holcombe, son Jeffrey Banks as well as three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Arnold lived most of his life in the Buncombe County area and worked until retirement in the field of excavation. He was a deeply humble, kind, and generous man who was devoted to Jesus, his Lord, and to his family. Arnold played many musical instruments and loved to sing Gospel music. He was a member of Mount Sheba Baptist Church in Weaverville, NC.

His life has been a cherished blessing to his family, and he will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

A private graveside service was held 11:00am Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Burleson Cemetery.
