Paul "Buddy" Douglas Honeycutt, 55, of Mars Hill, NC passed away on September 2, 2022, at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. He was the son of Mr. Paul Honeycutt and the late Mrs. Bobbie Jean Metcalf Honeycutt. Buddy was fond of shooting sports and riding four wheelers with his daughter. Buddy was a great mechanic at North Main Automotive in Mars Hill, NC.

Buddy is survived by his father: Mr. Paul Honeycutt, his wife: Brenea Waldrup Honeycutt and their daughter: Braelynn Honeycutt; a daughter from a previous marriage: Whitnee Ball; his brother: Michael Honeycutt and wife Hassiekay, his nephew: Ryan Honeycutt, several aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 3:00pm at Upper Laurel Baptist Church with the Reverends Cline Junior Hensley and Nick Coates officiating. The Honeycutt family will receive friends from 1:30pm-3:00pm prior to the funeral. Burial will follow the service in Upper Laurel Baptist Church Cemetery.
