Paul E. Shipley, 68, passed away peacefully at 5:17 pm on March 30th at Shannondale Health Care Center in Knoxville, TN. Paul was born on August 13, 1950 to Paul and Barbara Franklin Shipley. He lived most of his adult life in Knoxville, TN. He graduated from West High School in June 1968. He entered Carson Newman College in the fall of 1968.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul Shipley; sister, Marcia S. Henry; grandparents, Walter and May Shipley and P.E. and Dolly Franklin.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Shipley of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Katy (Herb) Herbert of Puerto Rico and son Paul (Tasha) Hill of Watertown, TN; brother-in-law, Curtis Henry of Sevierville, TN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral service which will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Charles Reynolds and Larry Best will officiate. Visitation will be 12:30 – 1:00 prior to the service.
