Rebecca Ann Howerton Ball, 81, of Marshall, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 at Elderberry Health Care. She was the daughter of the late George and Lenny Davis Howerton. Mrs. Ball retired from AB Emblem Conrad Industries after 25 years of employment and was a dedicated member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ball is preceded in death by her husband, Coy Thomas Ball and her twin sister, Minnie Lee.

She is survived by her sons, David Ball (Judy) and Mike Ball (Jamie); sister, Frances Carroll; brother, Wayne Howerton (Carol); grandchildren, Lori, Robin, Cody, Casey and Tristan Ball; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Monday, November 4, 2019 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Woody Dillingham will officiate. Burial will follow in the Runnion Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Ball loved her church and serving the Lord. She was a loving "GiGi" to her grandchildren.
