Rebecca Buchanan Fox, age 71, of Weaverville, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, April 6, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Florence Thomas Buchanan. She is survived by her husband, Albert Fox; daughters, Karin Davis (Greg) of Leicester, Janet Barnett of Weaverville, and Pam Phillips (Dusty) of Canton; brothers, Mike Buchanan (Brenda), Larry Buchanan (Nadine), Kermit Buchanan (Lois), Gary Buchanan (Mary), Kenny Buchanan (Trish), Dean Buchanan, Jimmy Buchanan (Anita) and Jerrell Buchanan (Geraldine); grandchildren, Cole and Gabriel, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 9 at 11:00 AM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Rev. Larry Sprouse officiating. Burial will be held at the WNC State Veteran's Cemetery in Black Mountain at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 8, 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
