Rev. Charles Rice's Obituary
Reverend Charles Clell Rice, 85, passed away on April 24, 2026. He was born on April 27, 1940, he was a son to the late Guy and Lucinda Whittemore Rice.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Clois Ann Rice and Carolyn Jane Rice; and a brother, Bobby Glenn Rice.
He was a minister in the Church of God for over 50 years and a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his children, a daughter, Linda Gail Rice Prater; and a son, Ricky Rice.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday May 1, 2026, in the Barnardsville Church of God. Reverends Daniel Reid and Michael Nations will officiate the service.
