Rhonda Kay Smith Runnion, 69, passed away on Tuesday April 1, 2025. Born on October 2, 1955, she was a daughter to Nell Bryant Crumpton and the late William "Billy" Smith.

Rhonda was her mother's care giver and loved to take care of her babies as their nurse. She enjoyed the beach and some good music.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Bob Crumpton.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Runnion; daughter, Ashley Runnion (Jerry Guerra); son, Chris Runnion; sisters, Donna Crumpton-Edmonds, and Sherry Isham; brother, Darren Crumpton; and grandchild, Kassie Fowler.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 12, 2025 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service.
