Richard Daris Anderson, 70, of Marshall, passed away on June 3, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Anderson, who died in 2008. Richard was an avid horseman, who enjoyed riding and spending time with his family.

Richard is survived by his daughter: Becky Hollifield (Gary); son: Larry Anderson; Sister: Wilma Anderson; dear friend: Anne Heath; as well as his grandchildren Avery and Reece Hollifield.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, June 6, 2022, in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Dennis Anderson will officiate the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A burial will follow in Fortner Cemetery of Marshall.
