Richard Lee Griffey, 45, of Elm Dr., Marshall, passed away May 23, 2015. He was the son of Joe Worley Griffey and the late Wanda Shook Griffey. In addition to his father Richard is survived by a sister, Lynn Griffey; brothers, Eddie Nash, Dean Griffey, Stevie Griffey, Joe Griffey and Gene Griffey; Aunts, Marlin Branch, Elizabeth Ballard, Teresa Marlor and Shirley Shook; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, May 30, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Solie Griffey, Bud Marlor and Shane Meadows will officiate.
