Robert Bailey, 74, of Erwin, TN, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025. He was a native of Madison County and the son of the late William Riley and Alda Wilson Bailey. He was preceded in death by a brother, Merrill Bailey.

Robert was a jack-of-all tradesman and could do anything he set his mind to. He worked in construction for most of his life, and helped build many houses in the surrounding communities. Robert was a member of Redeeming Grace Baptist Church, Erwin, TN.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Carver Bailey; sons, Stacey Bailey (Theresa), and Brian Bailey; grandson, William Robert Bailey; and sisters, Donna English (Harvey) and Janice English.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Preston Riddle and Jerry Shelton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Shook Cemetery. Ronnie Rice, Jimmy Huffman, Verlon Davis, Kevin Peterson, Toby Edwards, and Mike Fender will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Monday at the funeral home.
