Robert "Lewis" "Pop" Blevins of Mars Hill entered his eternal home on Friday September 1, 2023 at the age of 79.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Will and Ada Silver Blevins; son, David Alan Blevins; brothers, Max, Charles, Paul, Don, and Howard Blevins; and one sister, Barbara McCowan.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Rose "Leta" Blevins; daughter and son, Teresa and Brendon Schneider; a grandson, Sean; special niece that was like a daughter, Darlene Arwood (Denver); special sister-in-law, Elaine Blevins along with Sonya, and Ann; many special nieces and nephews; special friend of 50 yrs., Erik Jenkins (Jeanette); caregiver, Janet Sawyers (Drew); and friends, Ken, Clayton and Byron.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday September 6, 2023 in the Pleasant Grove Union Church Cemetery. Reverend Raymond Cook will officiate.
