Robert Caldwell, 76, of Indian Grave Gap Road, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Mission Hospital- St. Josephs Campus. He was a native of Madison County and son of the late Swann and Ruby Randall Caldwell. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Jarret Caldwell; four sisters, one brother and grandson, Jeremiah Ty Rice. Mr. Caldwell is survived by daughter, Brooklyn Calloway (James); son, Cody Caldwell; brothers, Cecil and Vestal Caldwell; grandchildren, Alyssa and Sabrina Calloway, Kellie, Chevy and Cassidy Rice; several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by caretaker, Rosetta Worley and special friends; WP and Brenda Fisher, Charles and Barbara Sawyers and Alvin Caldwell. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Gary Fender will officiate.
