Robert Claude Chandler, 70 died peacefully at his home with his loving wife and son by his side.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; Joseph Claude Chandler and Martha Norton Chandler, paternal grandparents; Simeon Chandler and Matilda Ray Chandler and maternal grandparents; Ross Norton, Sr. and Dellie Chandler Norton, his brothers; Joseph Claude Chandler, Jr. (at birth) and Joseph Ross Chandler and his in-laws; Millard James and Susan Carter Henderson, nephew; Brandon Henderson, special cousin; John H. "Cutter" Ray, many aunts, uncles and cousins and a loyal companion, "Buster".

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Barbara Henderson Chandler, his pride and joy, Robert William Chandler, and his faithful protector, "Luther". His sisters; Jane Chandler Goforth (Conley), Dean Chandler Benfield (Tom), Sue Chandler Vilcinskas (Vince). His sister-in-law Kathy Alley (Dale) and his brother-in-law Michael Henderson who he loved like a son, sister-in-law; Elizabeth Roseman (Hal).Nephews Dewayne, Scott, Jeffery, Donnie, Jamie, Jimmy, Ashley, Charlie; Nieces DeeDee, Denise; and several great-nephews and great-nieces.

At Roberts request, there will not be a service.

His family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and medical responders who were there to care for him throughout his illness, and especially Dr. Benjamin Trichon.
