Robert "Bob" McLaughlin, 85, passed away on November 27, 2024. He was born on April 13, 1939, in Richland, Ohio, and was the son of the late Howard and Christine Baba McLaughlin.

He was a longtime employee of Ingles and was a member of Mt. Sheba Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Johnson McLaughlin who died in 2021.

He is survived by his sons, Chris and Jeff McLaughlin; grandchildren, Ryan McLaughlin (Claire) and Kara Butts (Nick): great grandchildren, Graham Butts, and Miles McLaughlin.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in Mt. Sheba Baptist Church. Reverend Steve Rhinehart will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the services at the church.

Bob was the neighbor, the friend, the guy, that would always be there to give a helping hand to anybody. He was a very hard-working man that love to help everyone in need.
