Obituary
Robert Columbus "Pee Wee" Miller, 69, of Weaverville, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012, at his home, one day shy of his 70th birthday.
A native of Buncombe County, Mr. Miller was a retired truck driver, and of the Baptist faith. He was the son of the late Avery and Pearl McComb Miller, and was also preceded in death by a son, Steve Miller; brother, Buster Abner Miller; and sister, Mary Emma Ray.
Surviving are his wife, Jean Miller; children: Carl Sammy Miller and wife Sheila, Rev. Joe Miller, Kim Miller-Cavins and husband Mark, Bobby Miller and wife Tamara, and Michelle Dodaro and husband James; step-daughters: Sherry Bruce and husband Mike and Laurie Flatt and husband John; former wife, Judy Miller; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Sunday at Long's Chapel, with the Rev. Joe Miller and Rev. Ervin Nash officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Sunday at the church, and at other times at the home of Rev. Joe Miller, 203 Herron Cove Road, Weaverville, NC 28787.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
