Robert Brantley Robertson, age 82, of Mars Hill, passed away Friday June 2, 2023, at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 23, 1941, in Richmond County, NC to the late Gilbert and Virginia Brantley Robertson.

Robert was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of Beech Glen Baptist Church.

Robert is survived by his wife, Joyce Jamerson Robertson; brothers, Edwin, Ralph, and Kenny Robertson; sister, Diane Sheppard; daughters, Sandy Lytton and Diane Arbogast; stepchildren, Danny and Donnie Gouge, Debbie Robinson, and Daphne Marrett; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday June 4, 2023, in Little Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverends Stanley Peek, and Shane Cassida will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, PO Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754 to assist with funeral expenses.
