Robina Fisher Edwards Smith, 94, of Marshall, passed away June 29, 2023, at Elderberry Health Care. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Safronia Treadway Fisher. Also preceding her in death was her first husband, Calvin Eugene Edwards; daughters, Linda Carol, Polly Sue, and Nancy Dean Edwards; and her 2nd husband, Hubert R. Smith.

Robina is survived by her daughter; Peggy Norton (Barnum); 2 grandchildren, Sudean Teague (Ray), and Eugene Norton (Diana); 4 great grandchildren, Hayli Johnson (Ryan), Logan Teague (Kelsey), Toby Norton (Cheyenne), and Caden Arrowood; and 7 great-great grandchildren, Malcom, Ruston, Ella, Elli, Finley Brenley, and one baby boy on the way.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, July 3, 2023, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Jimmy Dean Hensley will officiate. The burial will follow in the Bowman Rector Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The family would like to thank the staff of Elderberry Health Care for the excellent and compassionate care given to Robina during her stay there.
