Roger Vance Murray, age 70, passed away on Sunday May 21, 2023. Born March 24, 1953, he was the son of the late William and Virginia Hamlin Murray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Murray.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Murray; sons, Baretta Murray (Dawn) and Kenny Murray; and 4 grandchildren, Thai, Ashtyn, Maddock, and Marah.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 12:00 noon in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Murray Gap Cemetery referred to as the Murray Hamlin Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon on Friday, prior to the service.
