Roger Dean Riddle, 53, of Lincolnton, NC, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020, at Carolinas Medical Center. He is a native of Buncombe County and the son of Jerry and Harriet Rice Riddle. Roger was a 1986 graduate from North Buncombe High School. He served in the US Marine Corp for 4 ½ years, including a tour of duty in Desert Storm, and was employed with Blum Incorporated for 14 years. He is preceded in death by his brother Timothy Allen Riddle.

In addition to his parents, Roger is survived by his sisters, Lynn Farris, Sherry Riddle Ledbetter (Darrin), and Marsha Tesner; and several nieces and nephews, all of Weaverville.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The body will lie in state from 12-1pm Wednesday, with a visitation following at 1pm. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, 901 Aiken Road, Asheville, NC 28804.

Roger loved working on cars, jet skiing on the lake, and he was always willing to help anyone in need. His family will miss him greatly.
