Ronnie Ball, 70, of 276 Ball Dr. passed away April 17, 2017. He was the son of the late Jay D. and Bertie Brooks Ball. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sisters, Louise Davis, Lillian Dowdy, Wilma Martin and Bertha Mae Spry and a brother Bobby Ball.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Reva Bailey Ball, daughters, Pamela Rhodes (Glenn), Jennifer Mace (Shawnie); brothers, Wayne Ball (Ruby), Bruce Ball (Donna), Reece Smith, Norman Ball (Vera); grandchildren, Kenda Hunt (A.J.), Eden Payne (Devin), Craig Mace, Shawna Mace (Brandon Lewis), Leigha Mace (Tyler Hightower); Great grandchildren, Bryson and Miriah Lewis, Colton and Aliana Hunt, Jaxon Payne, Summer and Autumn Hightower and several other family members.

A funeral service will be held 4:00pm Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Reverends Gary Fender and Travis Chandler officiating. The burial will follow in the Dry Pond Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service PO Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754 to assist the family with final arrangements.
