Rosie Ramsey, 103, of Mars Hill, NC, passed away, Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Rosie was born in Bryson City, NC to the late Fannie Whaley and Grant Riddle. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Ramsey; son, Harlon Ramsey; sisters, Margie Silvers and Suffie Fender; brothers, Loye and Grady Riddle; and granddaughter, Cathy Ramsey. Surviving Rosie are her brothers, Bruce and Paul Riddle; daughter-in-law, Robbie Ramsey of Brevard, NC; grandsons, Farrell Ramsey and wife, Janet of Mountain Home, ID and Lawrence Ramsey of Sam's Gap, NC; great grandchildren, Elicia Massengill and husband, Glen of Mill Spring, NC, Shannon Gelalia of Mountain Home, ID, Rachel Ball and husband, Albert of Weaverville, NC, Samuel Ramsey of Sam's Gap, NC, and Danielle Christiansen and her husband, Seth of Buhl, ID; and great great grandson, Cooper Massengill of Mill Spring, NC. Visitation will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 3 PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with graveside rites and interment immediately following at Little Ivy Cemetery.
