Roy "Weldon" Rice, 68, of 2635 Lower Gabriels Creek Rd., passed away June 4, 2016 at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation. He was the son of the late Thomas Carl and Helen Parker Rice. He is survived by his wife Nancy Kaye Rice, sister in laws, Joyce Smith, Dean Lewis and husband David and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, June 7, at Old Bull Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm Monday, June 6, at Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
